A promo card has a second to catch attention and weeks to stay useful. The layouts that work best keep the front simple and put everything practical on the back.
Front: the offer
- The offer in the largest text, such as “£10 off your first visit”
- Your logo, smaller than the offer
- One image or a strong brand colour
Back: how to use it
- How to redeem: “Show this card at the till” or “Use code AUTUMN10 online”
- End date
- Address, website or QR code
- Short terms in readable text
A clear call to action
Tell people exactly what to do: visit, book, scan or call. One action per card works best.
Tracking
Use a unique code, number or QR code for each campaign or location, so you know which cards brought customers in.
Print-ready checklist
- Card size 85.6 × 54 mm with bleed
- Text well inside the trim and away from rounded corners
- CMYK artwork with images at 300 dpi
- Dark text on light backgrounds for readability
Finishes
Gloss suits bright, bold designs; matt suits premium brands; spot UV can highlight the offer.
