Group of friends watching a sunset

Personalised membership cards give club members something to show at the door and keep in their wallet. For sports clubs, social clubs, societies and associations, a printed plastic card looks more official than a paper slip and lasts the whole season.

What to print on a club membership card

  • Club name, crest or logo
  • Member name and membership number
  • Membership type, such as full, junior, social or family
  • Valid-until date or season
  • Club address, website or contact number on the back

Numbering and barcodes

Sequential numbering gives each member a unique ID. Add a barcode if you scan members in at the door or bar, or if your membership software uses barcodes. See membership cards with barcodes.

Different cards for different members

Use a different colour for each membership type so staff can tell at a glance. Short-run printing makes this affordable even for small clubs.

Plan around renewals

If membership runs by season, print the season on the card and order before renewals open. Leave space on the back for a signature if you check cards against ID.

Small quantities welcome

You can order as few as 15 cards online. That suits small societies and new clubs, and lets you test a design before a bigger run.
