Neon hotel sign at night

Guests check their key card many times a day. That makes the back of the card one of the most-seen spaces in your hotel. Used well, it can promote your own services or bring in income from local partners.

Promote your own services

  • Restaurant or bar: opening times and a QR code to the menu
  • Spa or gym: hours and how to book
  • Room service: the extension number
  • Direct booking: a QR code to your website for the next stay

Sell space to local businesses

Restaurants, taxi firms, tour operators and attractions near you want to reach visitors. A small advert on the key card, in return for a fee or a guest discount, can cover the cost of the cards.

Seasonal campaigns

Short runs make it practical to print a Christmas menu card, a summer terrace promotion or a conference-sponsor design, then switch back.

Keep it readable

One message per card works best. Keep text large enough to read without glasses, and keep the room number off the card for security. See hotel key card design ideas.

Track the results

Use a unique QR code or offer code on each design so you can see which promotions guests use.

Options and prices

Options include QR codes, barcodes, numbering, magnetic stripe, signature panel, contactless chips, hole punch, spot UV, and a matt or gloss finish. Every file is checked and proofed, and nothing is printed until you approve the proof.

Hotel key cards are sold in packs: 15 for £30, 30 for £45, 60 for £80 and 120 for £160, with 45, 75 and 90 packs in between. Magnetic stripe, NFC contactless and RFID versions cost the same. Prices are for full-colour print from supplied artwork and exclude delivery. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. For larger runs, contact us for a quote.
