At Plasticard we know that each individual print run will vary greatly from the last which is why we offer our clients an extensive range of custom features and customisations for their cards.
Our factory is capable of tackling the most intricate of card print runs to completing fast turnarounds on small print runs.
We do this by using the latest in card printing technologies that include state of the art digital and lithographic printing that delivers CMYK, Spot/Pantone colours, matt and gloss finishes, metallic inks and the newest addition to 3D printing. On top of all that we also offer the latest digital card printing technologies as well as innovative on card features such as Chip and Pin, scratch panels and numbering to name just a few.
Our embossing machinery provides a flawless finish to our cards that can be seen on all high-quality bank cards. Additional colours can be added during the embossing process by the use of a coloured foil that will offer another level of quality and personalisation to the cards.
We use the latest encoding technology to write and read data to the magnetic stripe on our cards. Our standard magnetic stripe works with 2 tracks –
- Track 1 is Alphanumeric with a max qty of 79 characters
- Track 2 is 37 NUMBERS only, Track 3 is Alphanumeric with a max qty of 107 characters.
Our cards support just about any standard magnetic strip based lock system including, Saflok, Ving and Tesa and we encoded on both Hico (high-coercivity)and Loco (low-coercivity).
We overlaminate our cards to protect the printing and enhance the durability of the magnetic stripes. Our cards meet all ISO and lock system specifications.
We also offer Mifare chip encoding, MIFARE is the leading contactless smart card platform used in numerous applications worldwide that provide a dedicated and secure infrastructure from which to issue contactless smart cards.
Barcodes and QR Codes provide a speedy and precise use for customers and benefit many businesses by saving money, time and easily manageable database of information use.
